WKU Player of the Week: goalkeeper Mia Riddick
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With the return of sports over on the Hill, it’s time to bring back our WKU Player of the Week honors, starting with soccer goalkeeper Mia Riddick!
Riddick played phenomenal defense in the team’s first matches of the season against Missouri and Indiana State, keeping the Tigers and Sycamores at bay with eight combined saves.
Her work in the net saw the program notch two shutouts to start the year for the first time since 2021.
Conference USA also recognized Riddick for her performance to open 2026, naming her the league’s Goalkeeper of the Week.
The Hilltoppers return to the WKU Soccer Complex for two home matchups this week, hosting UAB on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. and Ball State on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
