WKU honors Caden Lucas with Heather Strode Circle Leader of the Year Award

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A Western Kentucky University student received honors for the Heather Strode Circle Leader of the Year award.

Caden Lucas, a junior political science major, was recognized by the Western Kentucky University Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa and the National Leadership Honor Society as a student whose exemplary leadership has profoundly impacted the WKU community.

The award is given in memory of Professor Strode, whose daily contributions to advising the next generation of WKU students continue to shape WKU culture.

“His leadership is both highly visible and deeply intentional. He shows up consistently, leads with purpose, and elevates everyone around him”, Caden’s nominator said.

Caden’s nominator said his leadership and consistency are remarkably similar to Heather Strode.

The WKU Circle congratulates Caden on his honor and celebrates his contributions to the Hilltopper community.
