WKU helps students in Hilltopper Hall find new residences

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Students who had been living in Hilltopper Hall were recently informed that due to a shift in the facade of the building they would need to find new places to stay.

Housing and Residence Life at WKU has been quickly assisting students who have mainly been moved to McCormack, Douglas Keene and Pierce Ford Tower.

Director of Media Communications at WKU Jace Lux says that students have been reimbursed funds to help with the move and to cover costs of their new dormitories.

“If students choose to remain on campus, they receive a $1,000 credit, which will be applied toward their housing. And they will also only be responsible for paying the rate of the hall that they’re moving into.” Lux said.
