WKU game against Charlotte rescheduled
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. –Fans are hopeful that the third time will be the charm for WKU football as the Hilltoppers are finally slated to take on the Charlotte Forty-Niners
Despite previous positive COVID-19 tests within the 49ers program, the tops will meet Charlotte Sunday, December 6th.
This news marks the third official date that this game has been scheduled to take place.
Originally, this match up was on the docket for November 28th, but was postponed to December 1st due to Charlotte’s COVID related issues.
This game will be Charlotte’s first home game of the season and only their sixth appearance in 2020.
The Hilltoppers will look to keep their momentum going and extend their two game winning streak.
With a win on Sunday, WKU would have a winning record in conference USA play and it would help their odds of receiving a bowl game invite, being that there is no win requirement this season for bowl eligibility.
Kickoff is set Sunday, December 6th at 11 a.m. local time and can be seen on ESPN 3.
