WKU football’s Zach Edwards begins first season as a Hilltopper
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One of the new faces joining WKU’s football roster this year is defensive end Zach Edwards.
The senior transfer out of Troy played one season with the trojans, recording 18 tackles and one sack, as well as two pass breakups and a blocked kick.
At practice, he spoke on what he’s loving about being a Hilltopper.
“I like Coach Hall,” Edwards said. “Coach Hall swept me off my feet and coach Summers. They just really made me feel at home already and stuff like that. Also, this scheme took me by surprise. I didn’t think it was a scheme, but after getting in meetings and actually breaking the scheme down, I figured out that I like the scheme way better than the schemes I played in for like three years.”
