WKU football prepares for “100 Miles of Hate” game on Saturday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU football is preparing for week three where the team will head to Murfreesboro on Saturday to take on the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders for the newest installment of the “100 Miles of Hate” rivalry.

The Tops grabbed a win over EKU last weekend to gain some positive energy, but MTSU wasn’t as lucky, falling in a tough matchup with No. 5 Ole Miss by a final score of 52-3.

Momentum is always a factor in sports and even the Hilltoppers know that MTSU will have extra motivation heading into the rivalry contest.

“ I believe so, they play the good teams,” linebacker Devon Lynch said. “They’re going to try to bounce back against us, but like I said, we’re going to come in and we’re going to try to dominate like we did last week and just put the pedal to the metal going on the road.”
