WKU Football: Duncan out for season

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Football Head Coach Tyson Helton announced Monday that redshirt-junior quarterback Steven Duncan will be out for the remainder of the season after undergoing successful surgery on his left foot.

Duncan cracked his left foot during the Hilltoppers loss to Louisville on Sept. 14 at Nissan Stadium.

A week ago, Helton said a pin would need to be put into Duncan’s foot to help with the healing process, but did not know how long his starting quarterback would be out at that time.

Ty Storey, Davis Shanley and Kevaris Thomas are all currently vying for the vacant starting role, one which Helton said the team is still evaluating.

The Hilltoppers return to action on Saturday, Sept. 28 hosting UAB.
