WKU business students raising funds for networking trip in Atlanta
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU’s Gordon Ford College of Business is preparing to send several students on a trip to Atlanta.
While there, they’ll get to meet and network with big-name companies but they need your help financially to get there.
With donations, 24 WKU business students will be able to travel and network with professionals from five companies including Coca-Cola.
The total estimated cost for the program is $12,000, which covers all expenses including a professional portfolio for students to carry on the trip.
The cost of each student to participate is $500 and it’s the business department’s goal to raise $200 per student for a total of $4,800.
One senior going on the trip, Isabel Gott, wants to inspire other women to pursue business fields.
Another senior, Cameron Aitken, is hoping the trip turns into an internship or job opportunity.
The students participating in the trip are responsible for 70$ of the total cost of 500$ to go.

The students will be taking the trip from April 14th to the 16th.
