WKU Basketball Tipoff Luncheon set for Oct. 21

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Hilltopper fans are invited to the WKU Basketball Tipoff Luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 11:30 a.m. CT inside the Knicely Conference Center on South Campus as the Hilltopper and Lady Topper programs officially tip off the 2025-26 basketball season.

This event invites fans, alumni and the local community to celebrate the start of a new season, featuring remarks from WKU Women’s Basketball Head Coach Greg Collins and WKU Men’s Basketball Head Coach Hank Plona.

Tickets for the luncheon are $25 per person or $200 for a table of eight. Reservations can be made by calling 270-745-5321 or emailing haf@wku.edu. Fans are encouraged to secure tickets early, as seating is limited.

Season and single game tickets for both Hilltopper and Lady Topper Basketball are officially on sale now. Season tickets start at $75 for men’s basketball and $50 for women’s basketball. Single game tickets start at $15-$20 for men’s games and $8 for women’s games. Fans can purchase by calling the WKU Ticket Office at 1-800-5-BIG RED or online here. Those interested in tickets or group experiences can provide their information here to be contacted by a WKU Ticket Office representative.

The Hilltoppers open their 16-game home slate on Monday, Nov. 3 against Tennessee Tech, and will also host Evansville and Tulsa in nonconference play. WKU Men’s Basketball will play an exhibition against Kentucky Wesleyan on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 6:30 p.m. CT. The game is free to attend.

The Lady Toppers tip off their 14-game home schedule on Friday, Nov. 5 against Kentucky State, also hosting Wichita State, Indiana State, Vanderbilt and Florida Atlantic before beginning Conference USA play in January. WKU Women’s Basketball will host Lindsey Wilson in a free exhibition on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. CT, preceded by the annual “Top’R Treat” event for kids at 5 p.m. CT.
