WKU awarded $377,000 grant from National Science Foundation
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The National Science Foundation is awarding Western Kentucky University with a grant for over $377,000.
The announcement came Thursday from Rep. Brett Guthrie’s office.
The money will be used to acquire a laser scanning confocal microscope.
The microscope, which is used by scientists to look at genes, will help faculty and graduate student researchers, as well as enhance the learning experience for undergraduates and students at Gatton Academy.
