Wine bar in Bowling Green named as one the best in the nation

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Pop the cork.

Bowling Green has one of the best wine bars in America, according to AskMen.com.

Bowling Green’s Preservation Tasting Room and Bottle Shop made the top 15 list.

To qualify for the list, Ask Men looked at wine bars offering delicious vino, unpretentious staff and a calming and inviting atmosphere.

According to the article, Preservation offers a large variety of wine from local vineyards, as well as old world offerings from France and Italy.

Founded two years ago on Nashville Road by three Western Kentucky University alumni, co-owner, Dan Chaney, tells WNKY it’s an honor to be listed with some of the other great wine bars in the nation.

“It’s a highly respectable list,” said Chaney. “We, of course, feel like we deserve it. We do our best and try to provide folks with something they can come enjoy and have a unique experience here in Bowling Green. We are extremely excited.”
