White Farms continues tradition of giving, supporting young girl battling leukemia
WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Since 2007, White Farms Breaking and Training has helped lighten the financial burden of families facing medical crises, and they have no plans of slowing down. To date, the farm has raised more than $700,000.
It’s all donated directly to families in need. This year, the annual benefit will support Kennedy, a young girl described as full of life despite her leukemia diagnosis.
“Kennedy is a firecracker,” said Ryne White, owner of White Farms. “She’s the most down-to-earth kid and never meets a stranger.”
The White family is organizing an event filled with food, knife sharpening and a live auction, with every dollar going directly to Kennedy and her family.
“Once you help a family, it’s hard to put into words the feeling you get from their gratitude,” White added.
That indescribable feeling extends beyond the farm — it’s shared by the entire community.
“The money we raise is just a small token compared to what these families go through,” White said.
The benefit is scheduled for Sept. 27 at 1 p.m., and the community is encouraged to come out and show their support. For more information, visit the White Farms Facebook.
