Western Kentucky University names new dean for Gordon Ford College of Business
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Western Kentucky University has named a new dean for the Gordon Ford College of Business.
Dr. Christopher Shook, who is the Sprunk & Burnham Endowed Dean at the University of Montana College of Business, will begin his new role in Bowling Green on July 1.
Dr. Shook is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. Shook has also worked at Auburn University, University of Texas at Arlington and Northern Illinois University.
Dr. Jeff Katz served as dean of Gordon Ford College of Business from June 27, 2011, to June 30, 2018, when he returned to the Management Department as a professor of management and the Oppitz Endowed Professor of Business.
