Wednesdays on the Square bring back summer concerts

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Do you have lunch plans tomorrow?

Why not take lunch outside at Fountain Square Park in downtown Bowling Green to kick off Wednesdays on the Square?

The City of Bowling Green, along with SoKY Marketplace, will kick off the weekly summer concert series tomorrow.

The hour-long family-friendly event will begin at noon and will include live music and multiple food truck options every Wednesday.

The weekly event will go on until the last Wednesday of July.

Some of the many performances include country, rock, soul and more.

“There’s a lot going on downtown, and this is just one experience of many that we hope everyone will come out and start to enjoy again,” said Downtown Bowling Green Development Coordinator Telia Butler.

The evening summer concert series, Concerts in the Park, return every Friday at 7 p.m. at Circus Square Park beginning July 24.
