Wednesday update: Coronavirus numbers in south central Kentucky
Governor Beshear announced 1,635 new positive cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. This brings the states total now to 113,009
Kentucky’s positivity rate is still rising, on Wednesday it reaches 6.3%.
11 more Kentuckians have died from the virus Wednesday. That brings the total number of lives lost in Kentucky to 1,514.
The Barren River District Health Department resumed releasing the number of new cases in the area Wednesday. They haven’t released new data since Friday, October 30th. The new additions represent new cases over the last five days.
Even with these high case numbers around the area, there are no new deaths reported. The total remains at 153.
