WCSO reminds of property tax deadline

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind you that you can pay face value on county property taxes until March 31, according to a post on their social media.

In December, the Department of Revenue and the Warren County Fiscal Court approved the extension of face value property tax collection through the end of the month, according to the post.

A 5% penalty period will run from April 1 through April 30, followed by a 21% penalty period from May 1 through June 15.

Delinquent property taxes will be turned over to the clerk’s office after the close of business on Wednesday, June 15.
