WCPL presenting world-renowned Egyptologist at the Capitol

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An Egyptologist, archeologist and author is sharing his knowledge at the Capitol this Saturday.

On Aug. 24, the Warren County Public Library is presenting Dr. Zahi Hawass, who is known for his impact on the field of Egyptology.

The library says his career spans multiple decades, with positions as secretary general of the supreme council of antiquities and the minister of antiquities in Egypt.

According to WCPL, Hawass has accomplished groundbreaking discoveries and extensive work in preserving and promoting Egypt’s ancient heritage.
