Waverly School Road bridge to close Monday in Butler County

MORGANTOWN, Ky.- Beginning Monday, April 1, the Waverly School Road bridge will be closed.

The bridge goes over Little Bull Creek.

The closure is necessary to rehab the bridge to improve its condition and is expected to reopen in late May.

Residents in the area will still have access to their homes, but barricades will be in placed at certain points to let motorists know the road is closed.

The repairs, part of the Bridging Kentucky Program, will cost just over $356,000.
