Water main repairs to close portion of Chestnut Street

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A portion of Chestnut Street is expected to be impacted by repairs Monday morning.

According to Bowling Green Municipal Utilities, on Monday, April 6 at 8:30 a.m., part of Chestnut Street between Sixth and Seventh Street will be closed due to crews fixing a water main break.

While the crew is working, alternate routes will be available.

BGMU says the crew will finish as quickly as it can.
