MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. – Mammoth Cave National Park is hosting a special viewing for the Geminids meteor shower on Thursday, Dec. 14 from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m.
According to a release by Mammoth Cave National Park, the Geminids meteor shower is known to have “fast and bright” meteors, where almost 50 bright meteors can be spotted per hour.
This family-friendly event is free and open to everyone, including seasoned astronomers and first-time star gazers.
