TVA to host ham giveaway for customers

MORGANTOWN, Ky. – The Tennessee Valley Authority and Warren RECC are working together to provide hams to WRECC customers for the holiday season.

According to a release Monday, the hams will be distributed to members on Monday, Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. until noon, or as long as supplies last at the Grayson County Fairgrounds in Leitchfield in partnership with Grayson County Alliance.

Another distribution will be held Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at the Butler County Road Department in Morgantown in partnership with Morgantown Mission.

Members must present a Warren RECC bill and an ID with a matching address to receive a ham. Members who live in any county in the Warren RECC service territory are eligible, according to the release.

TVA is partnering with eight local power providers in nine Kentucky counties to provide 3,814 hams to families.
