Warren RECC reminds public to look out for linemen
WARREN COUNTY, Ky.- With severe weather happening all around us, several city and utility workers are working tirelessly to ensure power is on.
If you’re driving, it’s important to proceed with caution if you see linemen working close to the road. According to Warren RECC, after last night’s severe weather, there were more than 20 poles down and many downed power lines in Warren County.
Warren RECC also encourages everyone that sees powerlines down to not to go near them.
Kim Phelps, communications and public relations with Warren RECC, says, “In weather like this where visibility is not great anyway, very important to look out for our linemen and give them room to work. There is a possibility that there will be additional outages today if more weather comes through.”
