Warren RECC granted $300,000 for pilot program expansion for fiber optic high speed internet
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local electricity company is expanding their reach for high speed internet capabilities.
Wednesday morning at Warren County Fiscal Court, Warren RECC was granted $300,000 from the fiscal court for a fiber optic pilot project in the Alvaton community of Warren County.
This will allow Warren RECC to expand their fiber optic high speed internet throughout the rest of the year to more customers.
During COVID and working and schooling from home, having high speed internet is becoming more and more necessary for everyone.
This is all a part of a pilot program to see how things go.
If all goes well, Warren RECC spokeswoman Kim Phelps hopes they will continue to expand.
