Warren East hosts 7-on-7 football scrimmages
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. The dead period for high school football is over and teams from around the Bluegrass state hit the gridiron once again.
That included Bowling Green, South Warren, Russellville, Barren County and Warren East, who all gathered at the home of the Raiders to participate in 7-on-7 scrimmages.
The event gave each team an opportunity to run through some drills, practice against different faces and, most importantly, just get back out on the football field.
Opening night for high school football in Kentucky is Aug. 23.
