Warren County units respond to reported structure fire and separate water rescue

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Multiple Warren County units responded to a reported fire Wednesday evening.

According to Alvaton Fire Department, Alvaton, Plano, Richardsville and Gott units were dispatched to a structure fire on S. Hewitt Road with reports of a dog kennel on fire.

Alvaton Fire states upon arrival, a wooden frame had visible flames.

Fire personnel say the fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported to people or animals.

While on scene, Alvaton Fire states it was dispatched to assist Smiths Grove units with a water rescue off of Martinsville Road, which resulted in all occupants being safely removed from the water.
