Warren County to honor longest-serving sheriff

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A long-time Warren County sheriff is being honored on Thursday.

Warren County, Kentucky is hosting a special announcement ceremony for former Warren County Sheriff Jerry “Peanuts” Gaines at the Warren County Fiscal Courtroom, located at 429 East 10th Ave, Suite 201 in Bowling Green. The ceremony will begin at 1 pm.

Gaines served as Warren County Sheriff for 40 years. He is the longest-serving sheriff in county history.
