Warren County Sheriff’s Office to begin checkpoint program for 2020

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is alerting the public that its checkpoint program will soon be starting up again.

There have been two fatalities on Warren County roads so far this year, according to the sheriff’s office.

In an effort to encourage safe driving and discourage unsafe and unlawful driving, the sheriff’s office will be conducting checkpoints throughout the year.

The first is scheduled for Friday, February 21 on Morgantown Rd., at Hadley One Stop.

The times have not yet been determined, but will be announced before that date.

The traffic safety checkpoint will be conducted in a manner designed to ensure it is clearly marked, staffed with sufficient personnel, and avoids unreasonable delays to motorists.
