Warren County Sheriff’s Office seeks historical memorabilia

WARREN COUNTY, Ky.- After more than a century of service, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office is working to preserve its long-standing history.

With a new facility under development, the department is asking the community to share historical memorabilia. Items from past sheriff’s, deputies or significant events will be used to showcase the agency’s legacy.

“To have mementos and things like that… would be just interesting,” said Warren County sheriff Brett Hightower. “People touring the facility would really get to see the flavor and history.”

The department has long operated out of downtown Bowling Green, but the move opens the door for a fresh tribute to its roots. Officials are also hoping to highlight the history of the nearby railpark and the department’s role in shaping the community.

Anyone with items to contribute can contact Capt. Johnson at 270-842-1633.
