Warren County Sheriff’s Office releases annual report
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office released the department’s annual report that shows the 2019 yearly wrap up.
This report comes after Sheriff Brett Hightower took office and details the changes he’s made to the department during his first year as Warren County Sheriff.
The report showed the office’s mission statement and three values Hightower expects of his deputies: honor, courage and commitment.
It also contains a breakdown of the organizational roles of employees within the department.
In 2019, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to over 1,500 collisions, 156 burglaries, and over 1600 suspicious persons reports.
A further breakdown shows over 4,500 training hours have been completed within the sheriff’s office.
This was the first full year that K-9 Kilo was on duty. He completed 71 vehicle sniffs as well as two felony apprehensions.
