Warren County Sheriff’s Office receives report of door-to-door scam

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office wants the community to be aware of a reported scam.

According to a social media post by the WSCO on Thursday, it received a report of two males operating a Dodge double cab pick up truck towing a trailer with Florida tags.

The sheriff’s office says the men are going door to door offering to put out pine straw then charge three or four times the agreed price. Authorities say the men may get aggressive with the property owner.

The two men were last seen near Fountain Trace and the Barrington Manor subdivision off of Cemetery Road.
