Warren County School District discusses plans for virtual academy
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Warren County School District has unveiled some potential plans for virtual learning.
The virtual academy will be an option for any parents wanting their children to learn from home. For elementary school students, the virtual academy will include videos, collaborating with classmates, interactive online instruction, and even virtual field trips.
For middle schools and high schools, students are in control of the pacing of their daily lessons, though they are helped by staff so they don’t work too far ahead. Students can log in at any time of day, and they will be required to log in on a daily basis.
The district emphasizes that this non-traditional instruction will not be the same as what was offered last spring.
