Warren County School District breaks ground on new Cumberland Trace Elementary site
BOWLING GREEN Ky.- Cumberland Trace Elementary has a new building in the works, and the area had its groundbreaking.
What will be the new area of the new Cumberland Trace was packed so everyone could witness the moment.
The reason for the building of the new Cumberland Trace elementary is due to the increasing student population in the Warren County School District. School officials say the new, bigger building will not only provide an enhanced learning environment but more space for the increasing number of students.
Rob Clayton, Superintendent of the Warren County Public Schools, says it’s a good feeling to give the students and families the experience of a brand new learning facility.
“It’s an honor to represent a community that truly values education and values our students. I’m thankful that our community has gotten behind this new project, and we’re excited to watch it come out of the ground and look forward to educating hundreds if not thousands of students here very soon,” Clayton said.
The estimated completion of the new Cumberland Trace is the fall term of the year 2021.
