Warren County reports 30 new COVID-19 cases

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- On a day Gov. Andy Beshear announced Bowling Green and Warren County are in the top 10 in the nation for new coronavirus cases, the Barren River District Health Department reported an additional 30 new positive cases.

Warren County now has 280 confirmed cases, while 47 individuals have recovered in the county. On Monday, the health department reported the county’s first coronavirus death.

Elsewhere in the area, additional positive cases were reported in numerous other counties:

Warren County: 280 (+30)
Butler County: 88 (+4)
Simpson County: 23
Edmonson County: 27 (+7)
Barren County: 15
Allen County: 14 (+2)
Logan County: 8
Hart County: 5 (+1)
Metcalfe County: 1
In all of these counties combined, 98 individuals have recovered and seven people have died.
