Warren County Reaches 1,000 Covid-19 Cases

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Governor Andy Beshear announced 283 new positive coronavirus cases on Friday, which brings the statewide total to 9,464.

Beshear also reported nine new deaths for the second day in a row, as the number of Kentuckians lost to the virus ascends to 418.

On the positive side of things, Beshear announced 3,231 people have recovered from Covid-19 in the state and over 227,000 tests have been administered.

Locally, Friday’s update saw 11 new cases out of Warren County, which officially reached the 1,000 mark of confirmed positive coronavirus cases.

Butler, Logan, Allen and Metcalfe counties all reported addition positive case increases as well.

Across the WNKY viewing area, the number of Kentuckians who have recovered from the virus stands at a total of 793, which is an increase of over 100 people since the last update on Thursday.
