Warren County Public Schools hosts summit on the Impact Center

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Tuesday, at the National Corvette Museum, Warren County Public Schools hosted public school officials, elected officials, contractors and others to learn more about the Impact Center and what makes it and the community special.

The Impact Center will feature opportunities to students here in Warren County not seen anywhere else in the country. Showcasing these opportunities to not just to school officials but to contractors as well help set relationships and inspires innovation itself. And as technology continues to advance, keeping the students up to date with it is key to their success.

“We know learning spaces matter, so we spend significant time and effort identifying what the ideal learning space needs to look like. As we continue to evolve. Technology is changing faster, than certainly we can keep up with. But what we can do is ensure that our students have those essential skills so they’re able to adapt as those changes come. Because, again, as we move forward, those transferable skills are going to be the most critical element, when determining, a student’s future success,” said Rob Clayton, superintendent of Warren County Public Schools.

But while each school district is unique, many suffer from the same issues when it comes to expansion and keeping up with tech. Some school officials from other counties are taking notice of the Impact Center and hoping to use ideas to help themselves in future expansion plans.

“We also face the constant need to, improve our facilities to find innovative spaces for our students to learn in. Very excited to visit the impact center as part of this, impact partnerships session that we’re at today. Because, we also have a college and career center in Hardin County that we’re getting ready to do an expansion on. So trying to get ideas from Warren County and the different pathways that they’re going to offer in their facility, and seeing how we might be able to incorporate that into our school district,” said Shelee Clark, COO of Hardin County Schools.

Warren County Public Schools is excited for the official unveiling of the school, and to hosts students. The Impact Center is set to open in August of 2026.
