Warren County Public Library to host ‘The Bachelorette’ star Michelle Young at the Capitol

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – “The Bachelorette” star Michelle Young is scheduled to appear at the Capitol by the Warren County Public Library for a free event on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
The event starts at 6 p.m. that night, offering a chance to hear from Young, who the library says was a finalist on Season 25 of “The Bachelor” and later appeared as the star of Season 8 of “The Bachelorette.”
The library says Young was introduced to a national audience but extends her work to education, nonprofit leadership and public speaking.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, the library says Young began her career as a fifth-grade teacher, encouraging confidence and acceptance among her students.
The library says her years in the classroom continue to inform her work and shape her partnerships with educators across the country.
In addition, Young’s career extends to The Michelle Young Foundation, which the library states supports underserved youth through programs like Homework and Hopes, an after-school program offering academic and athletic engagement.
The foundation also provides scholarships to help students enter extracurricular opportunities they might not otherwise be able to afford, according to the library.
During her appearance at the Capitol in Bowling Green, Young will share her story and reflect on her experiences in education, public life and more.
Free tickets are available at warrenpl.org. For more information, call 270-781-4882 or visit the library’s website.
