UPDATE: Warren County Public Library event with Michelle Young canceled

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Due to unforeseen circumstances, the event featuring Michelle Young has been canceled.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Public Library is inviting the community for an event with Michelle Young on Monday, June 16 at the Capitol.

According to the library, the free event will spotlight Young’s journey as an educator, activist and television personality who appeared as a finalist on season 25 of “The Bachelor” and the star of season 18 of “The Bachelorette.”

The event is set to take place at 6 p.m.

WCPL says Young has made an impact as a fifth-grade teacher, Division I athlete and advocate for underserved students. She is also the founder of The Michelle Young Foundation, which partners with school district to offer Homework and Hoops, an after-school program combining academic support and athletic engagement, according to the library.

The foundation also provides scholarships to students for extracurricular opportunities.
