Warren County Public Library offers eclipse glasses to community

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Public Library is helping the community experience the April 8th eclipse safely.

They are set to give away eclipse glasses to the community in the lead up to the eclipse.

These glasses will be available at all Warren County Public Library branches until they run out.

Library staff stress how important having these glasses are when viewing the eclipse and say taking advantage of this free opportunity is something you don’t want to miss.

“It’s not super safe to look at the sun without these glasses. We want to make sure that people have them. It’s going to happen in the middle of the afternoon on that Monday and it’s supposed to be really cool. So we’re excited to be able to provide that opportunity for our community,” Laura Beth Fox-Ezell, Youth Services Manager at the Library says.

Laura Beth also says they have around 2,000 pairs to start at each branch, and once they’re gone, they are gone. So make sure to stop by your nearest branch to get a pair before they disappear.
