Warren County Public Library names Laura Beth Fox-Ezell as new co-director
WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Warren County Public Library is hard at work providing the best experience to Warren County residents.
Now the library has elevated a long-time employee to co-director in an effort to continue serving the county. Laura Beth Fox-Ezell has been named the new co-director of the Warren County Public Library. She has worked for the Warren County Public Library since 2013 when she was a student at Western Kentucky University.
Since then, she has held many titles including, working and managing the youth services department.
Fox-Ezell, who has grown up in the Bowling Green area, says that she has made it her mission to help spread joy and create fond memories for children.
“Connecting kids and families with the library means so much to me, because this very library was actually my childhood library. I grew up in this library. I still remember attending the summer reading program here. It’s a core memory of mine. So a goal of mine has been and will continue to be in this new role. To create opportunities for there to be core memories like that. Not just with kids and families, but with every person who moves through this space for it to feel like a space that meets whatever need they may have,” Fox-Ezell said.
Fox-Ezell says that she looks forward to continuing her work at WCPL, growing the library along side Bowling Green and Warren County.
