Warren County Public Library director Court Stevens releases 7th full-length novel

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – If you’ve ever visited the Warren County Public Library, you may have met Court Stevens, their director. What you may not know about her is she’s actually an award-winning author as well.

Next month, she’ll be releasing her seventh full-length novel, titled “Last Girl Breathing.”

It’s set in a fictional small town here in Kentucky and focuses on a girl who loses her brother and two of her best friends in a natural disaster.

She must then figure out how natural this disaster really is.

Stevens says this story is a bit similar to her previous book.

“If you read ‘We Were Kings’, which is my one right before this one, and you pick up ‘Last Girl Breathing’, you’re going to be like… there’s my author. It should feel very in keeping. If ‘We Were Kings’ is your brand, I think you’re going to love ‘Last Girl Breathing’,” she says.

Court also says she is grateful to the community for allowing her to be the director and provide services they need at the library while also getting to reach their homes through her novels.
