Warren County Judge Executive tests positive for Covid-19, credits vaccine for preventing worse symptoms

BOWLING GREEN Ky.- In a Monday morning fiscal court meeting, Warren County Judge executive Michael Bucanon attended the meeting via zoom, as a result of testing positive for Covid-19.

At the start of the meeting, Buchanon emphasized that his symptoms are not as bad as they could have been, and he credits the vaccine for ensuring that symptoms did not get out of hand.

Buchanon used this experience to encourage all who are not yet vaccinated to do so.

“I want to encourage everyone who has not been vaccinated to be vaccinated. My doctor told me that had I not been vaccinated; my symptoms would be far worse,” Buchanon said.

Anyone entering the Warren County courthouse is required to be masked regardless of vaccination status.
