Gott Fire Department rescues horse from sinkhole

BOWLING GREEN, Ky – According to the Warren County Fire Department, crews with the Gott Fire Department were dispatched to help save a horse that had fallen into a sinkhole on a local farm.

Over the course of 90 minutes, fire department personnel extracted the horse from the nearly 30 foot deep hole with the assistance of ODell Construction.

Officials note that Gott is specifically equipped and have received additional training to handle large animal rescue incidents such as this one; already having handed several regionally over the years.
