Warren County Clerk’s Office provides March update
WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – It’s been two months since the launch of the Kavis system at county clerk offices across the Commonwealth.
Long lines and patience are still required when renewing your vehicle registration, but the Warren County Clerk’s Office says the bugs are slowly working their way out.
Officials do want to remind you that you must bring a paper copy of your insurance, not a screen shot on your phone, when registering your vehicle.
The clerk’s office must scan that paper in to complete your registration. This is just one of the differences with the new system.
“Everyday things get a little bit better. Occasionally, they may fix one thing and break something else but it’s coming along and it’s just going to take some time for all of us to get used to it,” Warren County clerk Lynette Yates says.
Yates also says that if your card says “see PVA,” that means your taxes are not in, and you must visit the Warren County PVA Office before visiting the clerk’s office.
