Warren Central students look to future during Military and Career Signing Day
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Several students at Warren Central High School celebrated their future during Monday’s Military and Career Signing Day.
One student signed a letter of intent to be a nurse with the Medical Center, while another student is joining the Army to become an airborne ranger. A third student signed to become a plumber with a local company.
In total, 13 other students from the school joined the Kentucky Army National Guard, including two students who shared their reactions to signing.
WCHS senior Eric Nishimwe says, “I know I’m going to get discipline, and I know a lot of stress is going to be alleviated for me, college-wise. And I know I’m going to get support a lot of places.”
Another WCHS senior, Esperance Faustine, says, “There are times where I’ve gone there, and I haven’t felt my best mentally, physically, spiritually, and they’ve just always been there to support.”
These students are showing their commitment to not only a career but also being part of those who will serve the community.
Congratulations to all students that signed!
