Warren Central student accused of making threat against school

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A 19-year-old is under arrest in Warren County, accused of making a threat against her own high school.

According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, a phone call was made Thursday morning from a blocked number to Warren Central High School, with the caller stating, “you all are going to die.”

A school resource officer began investigating the incident and was able to identify the phone number, which belonged to a student at the school.

The school resource officer interviewed the student, who was identified as Hannah Hayes of Bowling Green.

Deputies say Hayes admitted to making the call. she was arrested and charged with second-degree terroristic threatening.

Hayes was later lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
