Warren Central bests Murray in Second Round of the Sweet Sixteen

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Warren Central Dragons defeated the Murray Tigers, 54-48 advancing to the semi-final round of the UK Healthcare Sweet Sixteen Tournament.

Jaiden Lawrence led the way for Warren Central with 13 points, six rebounds, and two assists, while Omari Glover tallied 11 points, five rebounds, and three assists.

The Dragons will play Covington Catholic on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time. If Warren Central defeats the Colonels, they will play the winner of George Rogers Clark vs. Lincoln County. Tip-off for the championship game is set for 7 p.m. Eastern Time.
