Wanted Scottsville man flees deputies, taser deployed
SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A wanted man is in custody after fleeing from deputies.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Office says deputies attempted to execute a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling south on Old Gallatin Road. Deputies recognized the operator of the vehicle as Floyd Price, 29 of Scottsville. Price had active warrants for arrest.
Price failed to stop and fled from deputies in his vehicle.
The pursuit traveled south on New Gallatin Road before turning onto New Buck Creek Road. Price began recklessly passing other vehicles on the roadway.
Deputies say Price then stopped near a residence at the intersection of Joe Shelton Road and New Buck Creek Road. Price got out of his vehicle and began shouting and ignoring verbal commands from deputies.
A taser was deployed and Price was subdued.
Price was taken into custody and is lodged at the Allen County Detention Center.
Price is charged with fleeing or evading police, 1st degree, careless driving, improper passing, resisting arrest, operating on a suspended or revoked operator license, and failure to appear.
