Wanted Scottsville man apprehended, allegedly possessed drugs and weapon

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A wanted Scottsville man was arrested Friday.

According to a release, the Scottsville Police Department arrested Justin A. Phillips, 26, of Scottsville, on an active indictment warrant.

Officers say the Phillips possessed suspected methamphetamine and a concealed weapon. Officers say Phillips attempted to discard the suspected methamphetamine.

The release states Phillips was served the indictment warrant and received additional charges of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree, third or subsequent offense, carrying a concealed weapon, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Phillps was lodged at the Allen County Jail on a full cash bond of $10,000.
