Wanted man charged with unlawful imprisonment at Glasgow home

GLASGOW, Ky. – A wanted man has been arrested in Glasgow on several charges following a domestic incident.

According to the Glasgow Police Department, officers responded Friday to North Race Street regarding a physical domestic complaint.

Police say upon arrival, a victim stated she had been “restrained from leaving” a residence by being put into a chokehold and having her phone taken away.

The male subject, identified as Tyshawn Lorm, 23, of Glasgow, was found behind a shed and ran from law enforcement, police say.

Glasgow police say they apprehended Lorm on North Race Street and confirmed he had active warrants out of Georgia and Barren County.

During a search of the shed, police say they located a handgun, and they later found methamphetamine and marijuana inside the home.

Lorm was arrested and is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), first-degree strangulation (domestic violence related), first-degree unlawful imprisonment, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Lorm was also served outstanding warrants.

Lorm remains the Barren County Detention Center.
