Wanted man charged with sodomy, rape involving minor in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A wanted man is facing multiple charges in an alleged sexual assault case in Bowling Green.
According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department was dispatched Friday regarding a delayed sexual assault case involving a minor.
Authorities say the minor reported 42-year-old Lenard Duncan of Bowling Green had committed a sexual assault involving her at his residence.
Police say they located Duncan on unrelated warrants and took him into custody.
While speaking with police, authorities say Duncan eventually stated he had sold marijuana to another individual while the minor victim was present but denied any sexual contact with the victim.
Duncan was transported to the Warren County Regional Jail, where he remains on charges of first-degree sodomy, first-degree rape, second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine), second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (greater than or equal to 10 D.U. hallucinogen), second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (drug unspecified), first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), trafficking in marijuana, less than 8 ounces, first offense and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, along with four outstanding warrants served from McCracken County.
